Welcome to the 2012-2013 Sandhills Writers Series, a program which continues Augusta State University’s commitment to creative writing and creative writers by bringing to Augusta some of the finest contemporary creative writers working in genres that include fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. You'll be entertained and enlightened by the author readings and informal Q & A sessions each of which will be followed by a book signing and an author reception.
On October 18, 2012, poet and magazine editor Travis Wayne Denton will be featured and, on October 24, creative non-fiction author James Barilla will inform us about the craft elements of this exciting literary genre.
The Spring 2013 sessions on March 12 will feature poet Jessica Greenbaum and novelist Marcia Douglas.
